About Michael

Michael Pagan is an award-winning lighting designer with over a decade of experience in theatre, touring, and TV broadcast. A proud Orlando native, Michael’s passion for lighting began in high school, where his talent quickly earned him recognition and awards. Upon graduation, he transitioned into the professional world, signing with PRG as a lighting console technician and master electrician. From there, he expanded his career globally, working as a freelance designer on high-profile productions.

His credits include serving as the Lighting Director for the 2022 FIFA Men’s World Cup in Qatar, where his work earned him a prestigious Sports Emmy in 2023. Michael has also contributed his expertise to iconic productions such as Disney On Ice’s “Frozen & Encanto” and Jurassic World Live Tour, blending his technical skills with creative vision to craft unforgettable visual experiences.

When he’s not pushing the boundaries of lighting design, Michael enjoys spending time outdoors, whether fishing or exploring Florida’s scenic routes. He is a proud member and journeyman of the Local 631 IASTE Union, continually committed to advancing his craft and contributing to the world of live entertainment.
