About Michael

Michael Pagan is an Emmy Award–winning lighting director and lighting programmer with over a decade of experience in theatre, touring, and TV broadcast. An Orlando native, he started earning lighting design awards in high school and moved straight into the professional world after graduation — interning with PRG, then signing on as a lighting console technician and master electrician.

From there he built a freelance career across the globe, working as a designer and programmer on high-profile productions. His credits include Disney On Ice’s Frozen & Encanto, Jurassic World Live Tour, co-design on the L.O.L. Surprise! Live Tour, and lighting direction for the 2022 FIFA Men’s World Cup in Qatar, where his work earned an Emmy for Outstanding Technical Team Studio. Through that work he has established himself as a valuable lighting designer and programmer, and remains committed to sharpening his craft and delivering unforgettable live entertainment.

When he’s not on the road, Michael spends time outdoors on the water, exploring, and getting into hiking.
